You are like me! I was hiring a car ages ago and just took the smallest one. It was a 107/C1/Aygo. The guy offered me an upgrade to a Fiesta. No thanks mate, I'd rather have the fizzy tin box. Thought I was mad. Took the little thing and thought it was ace fun, something I doubt I'd have said in a 1.2 fiesta. I like driving odd ball cars.

I was at uni. Heard it had happened obviously but didn't know the scale of things. Went straight to work and we had about 5 customers the whole night as opposed to the 200 that was normal. It was only when I got home that I saw what had actually happened. I've been to the site twice, once about 9 years ago when on a lads holiday in NY and once with my missus. It really is a moving place, even with construction going on.

I got heaps. One day I let them do their thing. They knew all about my accident (crashtra) so I let them give me an estimate for my damages..... I said I wasn't injured but the guys said I'd still be entitled. Let him go on and on. I then told him I was standing beside the car and I wasn't in it. Never received another call from any company!

Lost count of the times I've done Applecross now, both directions! Even done it in deep snow in the zed!
