  1. Looking forward to this, looks like it should be a good turn out. Looking down the list, we have 4 from here myself, TheMinel 350ZNismo Loui Any more fancy a trip out?
  2. guys.... In exactly the same way as you put a picture up, put that same code in your signature.... i.e. http://location of your image just use the [ ] brackets instead of < > Insert that into your signature, and it should be sorted... Just try to keep the depth of the sig to a minimum, i.e. not a load of lines of text and a sig, otherwise the sigs start to look bigger than the posts. LOL Hope that helps.
  3. Ill have to check this out when I get home - work is hectic today....
  4. Ahhh - I see the 06 model roadster has the radio/phone buttons on the left side of the steering wheel... Why these arent on 05 spec roadster GT's I dont know. LOL
  5. Actually, you are probably pulling the same face in that picture that I would every time I got into a Z if I had won it! LOL :teeth:
  6. The only way you would get a better rate than that, would be to put it on your mortgage, or maybe become a "0% balance transfer whore" Which becomes a pain in the backside I can tell you. For anyone wanting to go the forced induction route and wanting to spread the payments, this kind of deal looks very good indeed!
  7. I have an ODBII to serial cable and the software for diagnosing my VW. I could try it on the Z, but would preffer to have the corect software before I do! LOL. I suppose if I can get a hold of a copy of the software (which needs to run on xp) I could try cabling up the Z and see what happens. Where is the ODBII port on the Z anyway?
  8. The Tom Tom 300/500/700 fir into the cubby hole in the centre console (where Nissan sat nav would be). They are a very tight fit, but yes they canbe placed in there.
  9. Welcome to the site! Glad to see the car puts as much of a smile on your face as it does mine! (and no doubt every other owners too!). Ive only had mine just over a couple of months now, but its the missus' daily drive, so the weekends are my fun times. Once the meets start happening, you'll have to come along - just look out for a bunch of other people with smiles from ear to ear! LOL
  10. It has now been changed so people can post their own events in the "meets, shows and events" area. Annoucement modified accordingly Hope we can start filling it up with meets now
  11. Hi, You may have already noticed, but we are pleased to announce that an events calendar has now been added to the site. You can access this calendar in two ways: First by means of the calendar button at the very top of the main menu. (just underneath the logo). This will take you to a month per page viewof the calendar. Secondly, you can click the smaller calendar button in the page header, (just above the "view posts since last visit" button) This will drop down a quick bar showing events for the current week. Another click of the button hides this bar. We hope this will make it a little easier for our members to find out what's on, and when. Members can even post their own events in the "meets, shows and events" area When posting a new topic in that section of the forum, extra options will be available which will allow you to provide dates (and if required, times and durations) for your event. If these are completed, your topic will automatically appear in the calendar. Lets see those meets.... Regards, The 350z-uk.com Team.
  12. Glad you go it sorted Val. Looks like some very tidy work too!
  13. :scare: I dont know if I dare look!!! I will have a look in the daylight tomorrow if I remember, but Im not impressed. Especially if they say its NOT a manufacturing fault! Is it supposed to crack! Would you be able to take a picture so we all know what to look for?
  14. Where abouts are you located - you may be able o get someone to pop round and provide a demo of the engine noise - LOL. There are some exhaust sond clips on 350z-tech.com here: http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Part:Exhaust_Systems The sounds that various exhausts make can be tested. A PC or stereo will probably not be anything near as good as the real thing though..
  15. Hi Nat. Nice to see you here. Sorry to see the upset on your current forum, I'm sure it will be fixed soon. Feel free to pass on our name to anyone who is a fan of or owner of a Z. Ill let anyone who shows interest who has a modded motor know of your site too.
  16. I think it looks quite nice. Hope fitting goes ok!
  17. Got an 05 and its got the crappy key too. I was looing forward to some nice flip out (a la VW/Audi style) key with a fancy Z. I would be interested in other options as well. I agree, the keys look naf.
  18. I like the way the pedestrians behind just keep walking instead of seeing if the chap is alright!

  20. Broadband fixed at home now (touch wood). Gallery should be working ok again now guys and gals. Let me know if you still have any problems...
  21. Hi welcome to the site... Strange coincidence you should have switched from a Tuscan, myself and the missus were looking at one of these at the same time as the Z, but as it was to be the missus's daily drive, and would have to use it rain or shine, or snow, the lack of traction control, abs etc was the deciding factor. Id still love to have one some day for the sheer fun though. Those Blackpool rockets certainly do have some nice style and are ferrari/lambo quick at less than half the price! As for gremlins or niggles on the Z, the only one I have found so far, (only had the car a couple of months or so) is that there are no Stereo/phone controls on the UK roadsters. Hopefuly soon to be rectified by a modification I want to do. Some say the standard tyres are a little poor a regards grip in the damp/wet, but I drive like my grandad, so havent had a problem yet.
  22. Congratulations Eddie. All the best for Daniel, Amanda and yourself.
  23. From what I have heard, some rolling roads can be a little "optimistic". Though I have also heard that many maufacturers underestimate the power of the vehicles, in order to avoid pottential backlashes if the figures dont stack up to the adverts. Whos going to go back and complain that their performancecar has more horsepower than stated? The MKIV golf was notorious for this, many 130BHP TDIs would rolling road at 140+ for example. the 150bhp models would sometimes push 165. Strange but true.
  24. Do you think we could arrange some sort of a convoy from a nearby services?
