M13KYF
something that needs to be sorted... These Stereos have the "NATS' anti-theft software incorporated into them. This means that it 'marries' itself to the ECU of your car once it is fitted and the code entered, unless the unit is 'Divorced' from the ECU, it will never work in another car. The 'Divorce' procedure can be carried out by a Nissan Dealership or any good Car Audio Technician. The head unit will not work even if you have the code for the replacement head until it has been fully divorced and is ready to plug straight into another car. kramretsimis
I read your post about the head units, ithink you may have answered my problem because I replaced my Clarion Bose 6 cd player with a same spec replacement and now it refuses to let me enter the code, it just says on the screen "WAIT" this then changes to "SECURE" afta a few minutes, does this mean i too will need a divorce, and how do i go and get this sorted, ta Mark. rawbhp
As mentioned above-contact Nissan, or go to a decent audio shop. The latter will no doubt be cheaper
